Highly Recommended!

This is amazing! I really like the sound of the narrator’s voice, music and instructions. If I do too much, sometimes I feel a bit agitated. I grew up with a lot of neglect and trauma and tend to be sensitive. Then I give it a rest and within a day I start to feel wonderful. I send much gratitude and appreciation to everyone involved with creating this product.

A wonderful tool for personal well-being

This was great—so relaxing and very helpful. I really appreciated the fact that I could do it right in my own home. It cleared my mind and my body felt relaxed and refreshed. I especially like that I can listen at home and can use it over and over again.

VERY Effective!Marla Hadley · January 10, 2017

Se-REM was recommended to me after I was hit with what I’d call spontaneous grief. I had lost my wonderful Mom two years previous and had dealt with it as well as can be expected, but it came back like a fresh loss. I’d thought Se-REM had to be done in the presence of a trained specialist, but learned that this program was produced so that you can run through it on your own.

I was really surprised at the results. Se-REM allowed me to process the trauma that occurred on the actual day of the loss, thus separating it from the overall loss. Going forward, the loss and memory of my Mom was no longer attached to that trauma, so I could freely love and remember my Mom. After using Se-REM—and it was a rough hour, no joke—the results blew me away. Daily, maybe even hourly, I improved. A week later someone pointed out my improvement, which was astounding when I looked back. I plan on using it again. That’s the best recommendation I can give.

Invaluable Tool to Overcome TraumaM · February 10, 2017

I have been using Se-REM for several years. I initially used it to address childhood trauma. It was an invaluable tool for me to achieve a level of self-awareness that I had not experienced up to that point. It provided me with a private environment to visit and acknowledge difficult experiences.

I felt like a heavy weight had lifted from me that I did not know was there. I did not know how my traumas continued to affect my present-day life. My relationships with family and friends significantly improved, and I felt more comfortable in my own skin.

More recently, I used Se-REM after a miscarriage following a long battle with infertility. Because I was familiar with Se-REM, I felt at ease using it to address this devastating event. It is a tool I can return to when I run into life challenges.

The help I was looking for

This program helped me process recent traumatic events in my life. I felt it was exactly what I needed and have been able to move forward since doing the program. I also used it to revisit childhood experiences that were part of a recurring dream for decades. The recurring dream stopped after using the program.

A grief experience over three sessionsMolly Van Roekel

The first time I did the session, I found myself quite depressed and discombobulated for several days. My counselor had suggested Se-REM to me. When I explained my first session, she said I had been more worried about helping everyone else, even though I was deeply affected by my son’s death from suicide.

I went on to do the session two more times. After my third session I felt much more at peace. I had no idea I had so much still unresolved from my past. David, thank you for making it available at a low cost to potentially help many people.

“Powerful. Thank you.”

I just completed my first round of this experience and feel incredibly good about it. I have done EMDR in a clinical setting with two different therapists. I was able to adapt the protective and nurturing figures, safe space and container I learned there. I found this meaningful and powerful. Not having a therapist there to bear witness was different, but I found myself able to go longer, with no thinking of numbers or trying to come up with phrases to change.

Personal report

A sense of peace

For years I felt as if my heart had a constant, unhealing emotional wound. I had tried many forms of treatment but never felt that I had truly resolved my past. When I finished my session, I felt incredible warmth within and a sense of complete peace. I have not felt this whole in a very long time.

To my fellow veterans and those seeking relief from PTSD and its dark side effects: before seeking help, I suffered chronic nightly paralyzing nightmares and carried an overbearing weight of guilt that hurt my relationships and those around me. I experienced violent nightmares every night for four years. After two sessions of EMDR, the nightmares diminished from every night to about once a month. It gave me a second chance to live my life.

One of the greatest variables was that it did not require me to speak or share the horrific experiences, scenarios and smells encountered in a combat environment. We have given so much to our country as veterans, and I encourage you to seek the help you need so you may enjoy what we fought so hard for.

After medical trauma

After back-to-back surgeries and hospitalizations, I was plagued with fear of being rehospitalized. After one session I no longer felt the same fear. I had recurring nightmares for one year beforehand and afterward had none. I have since been hospitalized several times and undergone two more surgeries without reliving the trauma.

“I did not have to share it out loud.”

I had avoided topics in my life because saying them out loud made them feel more painful. I took great relief in knowing I did not have to share what I was revisiting. I only needed to picture the event and allow myself to revisit those memories. I was not prepared for the emotional release, but it felt like a burden lifted. This helped me let go of old sadness, anger and confusion that I had not allowed myself to feel or process.

Childhood anxiety and flying

Issues from childhood still manifested in my adult life as extreme anxiety. I sometimes chose not to fly and missed vacation opportunities. After a session a little over a year ago, I noticed my anxiety decrease to a manageable level. I have since flown out of state twice without needing anti-anxiety medication.

“This has already been life-changing for me.”Alyssa B.

I’ve done this self-administered experience and have had good results thus far. The first time I cried; feelings I didn’t know I had came to the surface. The next day I felt a bit jittery and down as I was still processing, but the day after I felt a weight lift. When I revisited one of the traumas in a second session, I didn’t have the same strong emotional reaction.

I have done EMDR with a therapist before and prefer to do this at home. At home I can cry, do not have to hide, and can allow my feelings to surface in a private environment. I encourage people to have coping skills and support in place in case they become overwhelmed. The music itself is calming and there is a relaxation exercise.

I tried years of therapy, medications, doctors’ appointments, self-help techniques and books. They all held a place in helping me, but this is the one thing that has made a lasting difference so far. My world had been getting smaller with agoraphobia and social anxiety, and some family members are now saying how well I’m doing.

A therapist’s personal experience

I used Se-REM twice for myself—not for my clients yet—and my experiences were therapeutic and cathartic both times. I started each session with a present concern and my mind took me to connected early memories. Following the Se-REM protocol, I felt uplifted and rejuvenated, with substantially less emotional charge toward both my present-day worries and memories.

An intense first experience

I purchased this a couple of weeks ago and have listened several times. The first time was the most intense; I also had sessions where I couldn’t focus. Recalling traumas felt quite intense, but after the sessions I felt calm and peaceful. I will use the method again and would recommend it to people who are or were in counseling.

Personal report

Experience with sleep

I have received traditional EMDR and self-administered bilateral-stimulation EMDR. Se-REM feels different for me. I have REM sleep disorder and lifelong insomnia. The nights I fall asleep to Se-REM, I feel I have a good night’s sleep. I know that is not how you traditionally instruct people to use it, but it has worked well for me.

“Beneficial after the second use.”

I listened twice because I suffer with PTSD due to sustained childhood trauma over many years. Luckily, I have done a lot of work and was familiar with much of the process. I was still amazed by the results after the second use and found it very beneficial. I plan to listen a few more times.

Relieved, relaxed and peaceful

I absolutely loved this program. I was worried about going back to dark memories and afraid of how I would feel when I was done. I was surprised by how relieved, relaxed and peaceful I felt. Definitely recommend.

“Thank you from the depths of my heart.”Julia · Buenos Aires, Argentina

I found Se-REM through research on trauma and bilateral stimulation while working with a therapist. My situation involved anxiety, panic attacks and PTSD. I listened to the full audio once a day for the first four days. It was important for me to have a good cry privately and let my emotions be witnessed by my own awareness and care.

One of the main things I developed with the audio was an awareness of my conscious and subconscious minds working together. When the program asks us to be there as adults for our inner children, I felt integration happening quickly. I also appreciated the specific classical music chosen for each part.

Each time I did a session, I was able to release stress. I used it while recalling memories and while focusing on a recurring feeling or thought. I believe this work should be available in as many languages as possible. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

A great resource

This really is a great resource. I’ve checked it out and used it. Anyone who is skeptical: there is much here to consider.

My trauma is being processed

I am grateful to have a tool and a real voice to guide me through difficult memories. I love his voice; earbuds or headphones are essential. I also use workbooks, yoga and meditation. Thank you—I recommend this product.

For those who are reluctant to try

I purchased this in May and had been too scared to try it. I decided to try it the other day and was pleasantly surprised. It was beautiful and you did a fantastic job. I’ve only done it once, but I plan to do it again.

“Such an incredible tool.”

I tried your program last night and—wow. A few minutes into the music, while bringing up mild images that bothered me, I had a huge emotional release over something I did not realize was upsetting me. I’ve done EFT, EMDR, havening, hypnosis, Psych-K and kundalini yoga, and this was a striking experience. The sound quality is great as well.

After more than 20 EMDR sessionsTamaey Gottuso

I’ve now done over 20 EMDR sessions and am not quite sure how I found Se-REM. I did one full 60-minute session a few weeks ago and was wobbly and very emotional afterward. It took me a full day to regulate. I was not upset about it because I felt deeply buried emotion rise to the surface.

I decided to wait until I finished the EMDR sessions and then use Se-REM as needed. I am very happy I found it and appreciate your email. After a few more sessions, I would be glad to provide another testimonial.
